Gig Harbor Auto Repair

My air-conditioning stopped working. I took my 2009 BMW 335i to Gig Harbor Automotive to have it repaired. I have been taking my vehicles to them for almost 4yrs. There is a very good reason for me to take all my vehicles to them for repairs. (They do it right and they are very honest). After they diagnosed the system they determined that it was the fan motor and a relay that needed to be replaced. I was quoted approximately $1,000.00 for the repair. I owed this and they went to work. The next morning I called to see if my car was ready. And it was so I ask for a final cost of the repair. I was told approximately $180.00. I said no that can't be right. They told me after they had installed the new parts it still didn't work and then they discovered a ground wire, that had been repaired some time in the past, had a faulty connection. They repaired it and reinstalled my old oats and everything worked just fine. This is what I mean by (they are very honest). They could have fixed the ground wire and left the new (un-needed) parts in and charged me the original quote but they didn't. I'm so happy I found this place do do business with. Ben Rowland.

I love their inspection report and communication format. So much better to review a dashboard instead of listening to a list of recommendations over the phone, trying to keep it all straight. Staggering, eye-watering inflation in the cost of auto brake parts (an issue everywhere) but the service is fantastic. Highly recommend.

Bought a very used car and had Gig Harbor Auto give it a full inspection. Everything is set up electronically, they text you when the inspection is complete along with a link to your full inspection with pictures to show what needs to be worked on.
