Had a questionable diagnostic from the dealership so I wanted a second opinion. Gig Harbor Automotive Service not only diagnosed the actual issue but was able to fix it for less than their original estimate. Great work done by honest people. Will be taking them all my vehicles from now on.

I would highly recommend Gig Harbor Automotive. I was dealing with a cylinder 2 misfire code after having the coil and spark plugs replaced at the dealership. When the issue came back, the dealership told me everything looked fine but claimed I had sticky exhaust valves and would need a new engine and was quoted around $10,000. I decided to get a second opinion at Gig Harbor Automotive, and I’m so glad I did. They treated me incredibly well from start to finish and performed a very thorough diagnostic. The technician scoped the engine and ruled out sticky valves completely. Instead, they found that the dealership had installed the wrong spark plug in cylinder 2. What really stood out was that the technician took extra time after hours to walk me through everything he found and explain it in detail. Bottom line: they are honest, thorough, and fair which is hard to find these days. I truly appreciate their integrity and highly recommend them.
